How to Leave No Trace in Bear Country

Slim Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area, MN: Do you like to enjoy the outdoors in an area where there is a potential for bears? Leave No Trace has a variety of techniques to enjoy your favorite outdoor activity safely while in bear country.  The sixth principle for Leave No Trace is to respect the wildlife and in bear country this means using an appropriate technique to keep you safe and the bear safe.
