Services
Hot Spot Program and Recommendations
The Hot Spot Program identifies areas suffering from severe human-related impacts that can thrive again with Leave No Trace solutions. Your location will receive a unique, site-specific blend of educational, outreach, and training programs provided by our Traveling Teams aimed at a healthy and sustainable recovery. Hot Spots also include a site visit by Leave No Trace office staff, who will conduct pre and post-meetings, provide recommendations for continued improvement, and provide a comprehensive final report.
Visitor Perception Survey
Leave No Trace will complete a visitor perception survey
to provide you with data on your site’s visitor attitudes and perceptions of the area. Using this data, Leave No Trace would recommend messaging and management changes. Leave No Trace will submit a final report with all findings and recommendations. A site visit is required fro this service.
Signage Audit and Recommendations
Leave No Trace will assess your site’s existing signage and strategy to provide research-informed recommendations for adjustments on messages, language, design, and placement. This audit requires a site visit by Leave No Trace staff and will provide a final report. Leave No Trace-created signage template packages can be added at an extra cost.
Online Presence Audit and Recommendations
Leave No Trace will assess your site’s online digital presence, including website, social media, Google listings, and other prominent websites, and provide research-informed recommendations for stewardship messaging and delivery. Leave No Trace-created website and social media templates can be added at an extra cost. Site visit not required.
Permit or Reservation Training Video
Leave No Trace will write and produce an educational video to be used in the permit or reservation process at your site. This video will outline rules and regulations specific to the site as well as Leave No Trace practices. This service requires a site visit from Leave No Trace staff.
Volunteer/Ambassador Program Audit and Recommendations
Leave No Trace will assess existing volunteer opportunities, recruitment, and programs and recommend improvements at your site. Recommendations may include structuring more outreach and education-based volunteer opportunities, such as a trail ambassador program, at your site. This service does not require a site visit but may benefit from one.
Site-Specific Online Course
Leave No Trace will create an online education course ideal for your annual training, volunteer training, staff onboarding, and more. Leave No Trace staff will work with you to unpack learning outcomes and facilitate all of the backend technology logistics (ZOOM) utilized for your course. A site visit is not required for this service.
Site-Specific Virtual Training
Leave No Trace will create and facilitate a site-specific virtual education course ideal for your annual training, volunteer training, staff onboarding, and more. Leave No Trace staff will work with you to unpack learning outcomes and facilitate all of the backend technology logistics (ZOOM) utilized for your course. A site visit is not required for this service.
