Line Creek Nature Area | July 14-18, 2022

Located on the Fayette/Coweta County line in Peachtree City, GA, Line Creek Nature Area is a 70-acre waterfront public preserve. This popular woodland nature area offers a mix of scenery as well as a small pond, fishing dock, gazebo and nearly three miles of trails. Impacts have been increasing over the years with a particular focus on litter, water pollution, vandalism and theft, as well as introduction of invasive species. For the Hot Spot activation, the Subaru/Leave No Trace Team will be at Line Creek Nature Area leading a variety of workshops, outreach programs and community events, including opportunities for community involvement.

Opportunities to Get Involved
Saturday, July 16: Join Hot Spot host Southern Conservation Trust and Leave No Trace for a fun volunteer day and stewardship project at Line Creek Nature Area in Peachtree City, GA. Volunteers will be introduced to Leave No Trace and the Hot Spot program and learn more about how to protect Line Creek. Projects will include a litter clean up, removing debris off trails, etc. 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. More information.
Sunday, July 17: Join Leave No Trace and Southern Conservation Trust for community outreach at the Line Creek Brewing Bus Barn Market Day event. 12:30 -5:00 pm, Fayetteville, GA. More information.
