Roll up your sleeves and let’s team up for a service project out on the trails!

Join the Subaru/Leave No Trace Team, UpstateSORBA, Upstate Stewards, and Paris Mountain State Park staff for a fun volunteer day out on the trails. Volunteers will work on projects to address the recreational impacts to the park. These projects may include trail maintenance, litter pick up, pruning, and trail blazing.

ALL user groups and skill levels are welcome! Kid and family friendly, and no experience is necessary. We’ll divide into groups based on skill/difficulty level and interest.

Volunteers will be introduced to Leave No Trace and the Hot Spot Program, receive a rundown of the service project and safety briefing, and learn more about how to protect and preserve Paris Mountain!

UpstateSORBA is a chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA), IMBA affiliate, Member of the Palmetto Cycling Coalition, and Member of USA Cycling. It is an advocacy organization working to keep trails open to mountain bikes, helping with the development and maintenance of shared use trails, partnering with land managers and policy makers to develop fair, responsible policies governing the use of public and private lands, and connecting with the community to have fun on bikes! As an organization that focuses efforts on shared use trails in the Upstate, we welcome and invite all trail users to join us!

Upstate Stewards is a grassroots network of individuals and organizations that is focused on collaborating, learning, and building connections in order to educate, motivate, and empower our community to be more active stewards of our Upstate green spaces.
