Diana’s Baths Hot Spot Events

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Team will be at the Diana’s Baths Leave No Trace Hot Spot September 15-19, 2022 collaborating with partners on a variety of workshops, outreach programs and community events.

 

Opportunities to Get Involved:

Friday, September 16:  Conservation Mixer & Trivia Night 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Join Leave No Trace, White Mountain National Forest, Carroll County Conservation District, and other Hot Spot partners for a community outreach conservation mixer and trivia event at Russell-Colbath Barn at the Russell-Colbath Historic Site in Albany, NH. Come network with local area conservation groups as we bring together White Mountain National Forest partners to talk about Diana’s Baths and other locations throughout the Forest. Learn more about how to protect the Forest and Diana’s Baths, with a chance to win great prizes.

Saturday, September 17: Abenaki History of Diana’s Baths 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This event will include a historical and cultural presentation, along with Abenaki stewardship practices that will be led by a local Tribal group as we walk along the trail of Diana’s Baths. A craft area will be set up at the beginning of the trail at Diana’s Baths for those that are interested. Meet at the Diana’s Baths Trailhead Parking Lot. Sunday, September 18: Stewardship Service Project 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM

Join Leave No Trace, the White Mountain National Forest, and other Hot Spot partners for a family-friendly fun volunteer day. Volunteers will close off social trails and participate in a clean-up. Meet at Diana’s Baths Trailhead Parking lot. More information.
