Kevin Tatsugawa

Massachusetts State Advocate

My name is Kevin Tatsugawa, PhD. I am a professor of Adventure Education at Westfield State University in western Massachusetts. I prepare my students to be guides and leaders in the outdoor industry. I am located in Florence, Massachusetts. My goals as a Leave No Trace state advocate include: continuing the work of my predecessor in terms of spreading the Leave No Trace philosophy, increasing people’s awareness and understanding of the Seven Principles and stimulating discussions about the primacy of the land to outdoor recreationists, educators, and the general public.

Let’s protect and enjoy our natural world together
