Jewel Cave 200 Mile Celebration & Reunion

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers will be on hand for the Jewel Cave 200 Mile Celebration & Reunion, a weekend full of events and activities to celebrate, network, and learn about the exploration of Jewel Cave and advances in cave exploration throughout the world. In December 2018, cave explorers mapped the 200th mile in Jewel Cave National Monument, making it the second longest cave in the country and the third longest in the world. The celebration is hosted by Black Hills Parks & Forests Association, the official non-profit partner of Jewel Cave National Monument.

The Traveling Trainers will be exhibiting and educating participants at the celebration at Custer High School June 28-29 and then educating visitors at Jewel Cave National Monument on June 30.
