Creating Durable Surfaces

South Lake Tahoe, CA: We got a chance to hang out with the Tahoe Area Mountain Bike Association on their first service trail of the season. In collaboration with the Forest Service, hundreds of community volunteers have worked hard to reroute the Kingsbury Stinger Trail. Their efforts serve to protect riparian habitat and create a safer trail for all to share.
This project is only a single example of similar projects all over the country. Please get involved with your local volunteer trail crews to help build durable surfaces for all of us to share.
