Leave No Trace is seeking a new member to join our team as Marketing Manager. The successful applicant should have a strong commitment to the outdoors and the mission of Leave No Trace.

Position Goals

●      The successful candidate will be inspired by Leave No Trace’s mission to provide education, skills, research, and science to help people care for the outdoors.

●      We’re seeking motivated self-starters with relevant prior work experience and demonstrated abilities to execute marketing and communications projects, working primarily in the digital realm.

●      This content-producing powerhouse will be a team player who collaborates while receiving support and direction from a small but mighty marcom team.

●      This position aims to attract and inspire constituents with digital assets that engage audiences, grow strategic partnerships, and enhance popular support for Leave No Trace.

Core Responsibilities

●      Key marketing tasks include conceiving and executing digital campaigns, assigning and achieving success metrics, overseeing social media assets, and building/maintaining web pages.

●      Create and deploy digital content that engages individual constituents and strengthens Leave No Trace’s business-to-business partnerships in the community, corporate, and tourism categories.

●      Work with the marcom team and other staff members to develop strategies and fulfill KPIs and metric-based goals, leading to year-over-year organizational growth.

●      Work with the merchandise team on all aspects of Leave No Trace merchandise development, strategy, and sales channels.

●      Support membership and development work via fundraising events, online appeals, and other related marketing efforts to build a powerful Leave No Trace constituency.

Skills and Qualifications

●      Demonstrated ability to create and manage digital marketing assets, including web page development, social media messaging, newsletters, and advertising campaigns.

●      Implement marketing strategies, create original content, track analytics, and drive organizational growth.

●      Skilled in developing and implementing digital tools, including SEO optimization, Google Analytics and AdWords, Meta Ads, and online campaign management.

●      Comfortable working with online databases and skilled in data manipulation.

●      Excellent writing, communication, and editing are must-have skills.

●      Basic CMS administration (WordPress), graphic design, and video editing are nice-to-have skills.

●      Candidates should be prepared to offer examples of relevant real-world digital marketing projects they have created.

Leave No Trace’s headquarters are located in Boulder, Colorado. Both in-office and remote work arrangements will be considered for this position.

Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually based on commensurate skills and experience. This award-winning organization’s culture includes a flexible schedule and a great work/life balance. Excellent 100% covered health, retirement, and time off benefits are included.
