Sienna Thomas

Sienna Thomas is from the Piipaash and Tsitsitas tribal nations.  She is a Tribal Liaison for Outward Bound Adventures, and employed with the Torres Martinez Desert Cahuilla Indian tribe as an Environmental Technician. Sienna holds over 20 years of conserving cultural resources and protecting natural resources, and is knowledgeable in ethnobotany and experimental archaeology.  For 4 years, Sienna has been a council member for the Riverside County Green Party, and currently sits the Board of Directors for Friends of the Desert Mountains. She also volunteers her time and professional skills for many environmental and educational programs in the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas. Sienna’s passion and goals are to reconnect people to the land so that they will develop a love, respect and stewardship for the environment.
