Leave No Trace Names Two New Board Members

Mark Eller - August 29, 2024

The Leave No Trace organization, a 30-year-old educational nonprofit, is guided by a volunteer board of directors. These board members serve three-year terms and lend their professional and personal expertise to support Leave No Trace’s mission to provide proven, research-based solutions for protecting the natural world.

Recently, two new board members joined the organization.

Terri Janison has spent most of her life either volunteering or working in the nonprofit sector. A champion for children and an avid outdoor person, she has spent her entire adult life supporting her community. Ms. Janison is currently the Executive Director of Friends of Red Rock Canyon. She has served as President and CEO of a Las Vegas autism foundation and VP of Community and government Relations of the United Way of Southern Nevada.

Holly Moynahan is the Sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Director at Hubbell Incorporated, a global utility and electrical solutions manufacturer. As the first sustainability leader in Hubbell’s 136+ year history, Holly drives the company’s sustainability strategy and program. Holly has a BA in Environmental Science with a concentration in Economics from Colorado College and a MicroMasters credential in Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Holly was also recognized as a 2022 GreenBiz 30 Under 30 Honoree.

Terri, Holly, and the board of directors — along with the staff organization’s full staff and over 250 registered attendees — will attend the upcoming Leave No Trace Global Summit in Boulder, Colorado, on October 7-9.

Let’s protect and enjoy our natural world together
