Quinn worked as a Climbing Ranger in Rocky Mountain National Park performing a variety of technical rescues for injured or lost visitors.  She has a BA in Psychology and Leadership from the University of Minnesota, a Masters in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado, and has been an active wilderness medical provider since 2002.  During her seasons at Rocky Mountain, she worked closely with rock climbing concessions/guides, establishing stewardship efforts and safe practices in the field, as well as, wilderness management projects on Long’s Peak and Chaos Canyon. In October 2017, Quinn sustained a traumatic spinal cord injury and is paralyzed from the waist down.  She is back with the NPS, with a new lens into wilderness, recreation, an accessibility.
