Jorge Cortez

Jorge Cortez is the Director of Operations at Outward Bound Adventures, the oldest agency in the nation dedicated to connecting youth of color to the outdoors. He is also the Director of the Diverse Outdoor Leaders Institute (DOLI), the leading program in the nation dedicated to training outdoor leaders that come from diverse backgrounds. Jorge is a formerly undocumented immigrant from El Salvador whose life work has been dedicated to bridging opportunities and access to lower income communities of color.
