Kim Waites

Alabama State Advocate

Kim Waites has been a Leave No Trace Master Educator since 2016 and a Leave No Trace enthusiast since 2009. As the Wilderness Stewardship Coordinator for Wild Alabama, Kim ensures that Leave No Trace permeates every program from hikes to trail maintenance work days. Her goal for 2022 is to conduct a Leave No Trace Trainer course and awareness workshop every month and inspire people to incorporate Leave No Trace not only in their outdoor pursuits but on the home front as well.
