Wild Alabama is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring people to enjoy, value, and protect Alabama’s public lands and wilderness areas. Through education, advocacy, and hands-on stewardship, Wild Alabama works to preserve the natural beauty and ecological integrity of the state’s unique landscapes. The organization engages communities through wilderness skills training, environmental monitoring, volunteer programs, and partnerships, fostering a shared commitment to safeguarding these special places for current and future generations. From the Sipsey Wilderness to the Talladega National Forest, Wild Alabama champions the protection of Alabama’s wild places and the diverse life they sustain.
