Leave No Trace at the Beach

Guest - August 13, 2016

Cannon Beach, OR – The sun sets over the Pacific Ocean, a breeze ruffles the shore grasses, and buffs the golden sand. Kids fly kites in the evening light while horseback riders splash through the waves. One by one, oysters pop open on the coals and we eat the salty meat with butter and hot sauce. Earlier, we explored the tidal pools around Haystack Rock, captivated by the rainbow of anemones and sea stars.

Whether you are venturing to the coast of the Pacific Northwest or Florida, we’ve got some great tips to help you have fun and Leave No Trace at the beach.

Have Fun. Be Safe. Leave No Trace.
