Winter Recreation is Growing Fast — We Have Resources for Addressing its Impacts

The Sports and Fitness Industry Association recently pointed to data suggesting that winter activities like alpine ski touring, winter fat biking, and backcountry snowboarding are all seeing strongth participation growth. Our friends at Recreate Responsibly have shared these winter recreation tips, and Leave No Trace offers original research and resources to boost sustainability in cold climes.


 

Leave No Trace Announces Spotlights Locations for 2024 

The Spotlight program brings together our shared love for the outdoors with a dedication to preserving its well-being and beauty. In 2024, we will conduct at least 18 of these inspiring events.
