How to Pack Out Toilet Paper

Guest - April 28, 2016

Aspendell, CA: You've dug your cat hole 200 feet away from water camp and trails in one of the most scenic places you’ve ever been. You’ve covered and disguised your hole. Now how do you pack out your toilet paper? With a Ziploc bag and a small trash bag, that’s how (at that’s one way). Furthermore, first put the trash bag inside the Ziploc. Then put the paper in the trash bag and fold it up. Next seal the Ziploc and put in pack to carry out. Vwa la! That’s it.

We like this method because it keeps us from having to look at used toilet paper. It also creates a double bag barrier, which gives extra protection from coming in contact with bacteria and diseases found in human waste.

Happy disposing of waste properly!
