Bridger Wilderness Hot Spot Events

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Team will be at the Bridger Wilderness Leave No Trace Hot Spot June 23 – 27, 2022 leading a variety of workshops, outreach programs and community events.

 

Opportunities to Get Involved:

Friday, June 24: Join Friends of Bridger Teton, Wind River Wilderness Alliance, Leave No Trace, the US Forest Service (USFS), and local photographers for a Bridger Wilderness Leave No Trace Hot Spot Recreate Responsibly Slideshow, a presentation and discussion about the natural beauty and resources of the Bridger Wilderness and how to enjoy this special area responsibly. Light snacks & beverages provided. Attendees will be eligible for a raffle to win an assortment of prizes. 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Sublette Library, Lovatt Rm in Pinedale, WY.

Saturday, June 25: Community members and groups are invited to join the USFS and partners for a White Pine Interpretive Trail Development Team Ideation event to discuss potential designs and signage for an interpretive trail concept at White Pine Ski Area in Pinedale, WY, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Saturday, June 25: Representatives from Friends of Bridger Teton, Wind River Wilderness Alliance, Leave No Trace, and the USFS will be tabling and conducting community outreach at the Soundcheck Summer Music Series at 5 pm at American Legion Park in Pinedale, WY.
