Bourn Pond Hot Spot Events

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Team will be at the Bourn Pond Leave No Trace Hot Spot August 18-22, 2022 collaborating with partners on a variety of workshops, outreach programs and community events.

Opportunities to Learn More & Get Involved:

Saturday, August 20: Hot Spot partners will be at the Best of Vermont Summer Festival educating the public about Leave No Trace skills and ethics, minimizing our impacts and enjoying the outdoors responsibly in areas including Bourn Pond and beyond. 12:00 -7:00 pm, Ludlow, VT

Leave No Trace Traveling Team members will also be in the field at Bourn Pond and Stratton Pond educating visitors about Leave No Trace skills, practices and ethics to protect these special resources.

Sunday, August 21: Leave No Trace, US Forest Service representatives, and other Hot Spot partners will be at the Best of Vermont Summer Festival educating the public about Leave No Trace skills and ethics, minimizing our impacts and enjoying the outdoors responsibly in areas including Bourn Pond and beyond. 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, Ludlow, VT
