Eastern Hot Spot Excitement

Guest - March 5, 2018
Paradise Valley, AZ: 2018’s Hot Spot program is in full swing!
Our Hot Spot program identifies areas suffering from the severe impacts of outdoor activities – areas we believe can thrive again, by implementing Leave No Trace solutions. Each location receives a unique blend of educational programs, service projects, follow-up programs, and more. The result? Areas on the road to a healthy and sustainable recovery!
We’ve chosen 20 Hot Spots for 2018, but we of Team East Central are particularly excited about one in particular:

We know you were looking forward to this Hot Spot in January, but due to unforseen circumstances – and to give Mississippi’s Delta National Forest all the care it deserves – we’ve chosen to reschedule. We hope you’ll join us this fall, from October 29th through November 5th, for programs and projects that will help take care of the forest for years to come. It’s sure to be a Leave No Trace good time!
We hope you’ll enjoy this Hot Spot, and Enjoy Your World!–Amanda and Junaid, Team East Central

Leave No Trace’s Amanda Jameson and Junaid Dawud are part of the 2018 Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainer Program that provides free mobile education to communities across the country. Proud partners of this program include Subaru of America, REI, Eagles Nest Outfitters, Deuter, Thule, and Klean Kanteen.

Let’s protect and enjoy our natural world together
