Micah Leinbach

Wisconsin State Advocate

I’m Micah, an experienced guide, coach, and outdoor educator. My work emphasizes how we can get more – and more diverse – groups of people outside, while also reducing our impact on the land. I support non-profits, schools, municipalities, faith groups, and others in incorporating outdoor travel and camping into their existing work. I’m a Wilderness EMT, a Level 3 Leave No Trace Instructor, and bring hundreds of field days of camping experience across a range of adventures. Based in Milwaukee, WI, I work across the Great Lakes, where I grew up and returned to for the high-quality water and snow: kayaking and sailing in summer, nordic skiing in the winter. As a State Advocate, I’m excited to certify more instructors and help others develop their personal outdoor ethic!
