Located in the Salmon-Challis National Forest about 20 miles south of Salmon, ID, Goldbug is a popular hot spring along Warm Spring Creek. It requires a hike in and is know for its relaxing qualities. Goldbug’s popularity has been expanding in recent years and the area is seeing increased recreation-related impacts including trail erosion, water resource impacts, as well as human waste impacts.
