What Did Your Support Accomplish in 2018?

2018 was a big year for Leave No Trace, thanks to you.

Throughout the year, several of America's favorite lands were restored through Leave No Trace Hot Spots, millions of people were reached with Leave No Trace education in the U.S. alone, and thousands of individuals were empowered to spread Leave No Trace knowledge by participating in formal training provided by the Center. Because of you, we were able to accomplish all of this and more — here's a glance at just a few of the Leave No Trace outcomes that you made happen in 2018:

As you closeout 2018 and think about your resolutions for the year ahead, there's never been a more important time to support our work — just look at the headlines from natural areas that have been left understaffed and are feeling the effects of uninformed visitors.

The good news is you can help. Leave No Trace teaches people how to take personal responsibility and protect the places you care about. It works, too. Study after study shows that when people learn simple Leave No Trace tips it changes the way they behave in natural areas in a positive way.
