San Diego River Gorge Hot Spot Events

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Team will be at the San Diego River Gorge Hot Spot April 28 – May 2, 2022 leading a variety of workshops, outreach programs and community events.

 

Opportunities to Get Involved:

Friday, April 29: Leave No Trace along with Palomar District staff will hold a community outreach and trivia event at Pure Project Brewing in Vista, CA from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 30: A service project will take place at San Diego River Gorge Trailhead from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The project will involve wildflower seed planting, trail maintenance, and trash pickup. Sign up for the volunteer event here: LNT.org/ThreeSisters-Service

Saturday, April 30: The San Diego River Park Foundation will hold a Nature Challenge BioBlitz event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Eagle Peak Ranch in Julian, CA. Sign up for the BioBlitz here: https://sandiegoriver.galaxydigital.com/need/detail/?need_id=681739

Sunday, May 1: Leave No Trace along with Palomar District staff will hold a virtual youth educator training for teachers, instructors, and educators from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sign up for the youth educator training here: LNT.org/ThreeSisters-Youth
