Berthoud Pass Hot Spot Events
The Subaru/Leave No Trace Team will be at the Berthoud Pass Recreational Site Hot Spot February 10-14, 2022 leading a variety of workshops, outreach programs and community events.

Leave No Trace Outreach at the Pass
Come meet the Leave No Trace team and representatives from Headwaters Trails Alliance and Friends of Berthoud Pass and learn how you can do your part to help protect this loved area.
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Where: Berthoud Pass Continental Divide Parking Lot & Winter Pass Resort base area
Sunday, February 13
Group Hike/Snowshoe
Join Leave No Trace and Headwaters Trails Alliance for a fun and educational interpretive, mile-long hike to the Broome Hut. Leave No Trace information will be included along the way as well as discussion of local history, water drainage, and ecology. Participants must provide their own gear.
Time: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Where: Second Creek Trailhead
Leave No Trace Berthoud Pass Hot Spot Tap Talk
As a part of a monthly educational series offered by Headwaters Trails Alliance and in conjunction with the Leave No Trace Berthoud Pass Hot Spot, Leave No Trace staff will be leading an informal informative talk and discussion about how to protect the incredible resources, environment and recreational experiences at Berthoud Pass through Leave No Trace practices and education.
Time: 2 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
