Rob volunteers as a Leave No Trace Master Educator and serves on the Leave No Trace for Outdoor Ethic’s Board of Directors. The Arkansas Chapter of Leave No Trace has been active for over 2 years and their goals are:
- Enlist and engage volunteers
- Provide a platform to build local/regional volunteer networks
- Expand upon lasting and relevant Leave No Trace education in our communities
- Seek grants, funding and partnerships from local organizations and user groups
- Conduct at least two trainers course per year
The challenges are a large geographical area with multiple parks and the time constraints of volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers that have diverse outdoor interests and talents that can reach new users’ groups.
