Dr. Hileman is a Research Associate with the Voinovich School’s Energy and Environment team collaborating with community partners on diverse projects to support efforts related to climate, waste, sustainability, outreach, and education. As a former math and science teacher, alumni of Ohio University with master’s degrees in Recreation Studies and Environmental Studies, and a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a PhD in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management, Jenny has extensive experience developing, facilitating, and evaluating outdoor, environmental, and STEM education programs. Her work and research interests primarily focus on supporting inclusive and equitable experiences for all learners in outdoor, environmental, and STEM education.
