These general terms apply to all Leave No Trace giveaways and promotions. Specific details for each giveaway, including entry period, prize description, and any additional eligibility requirements, will be posted on that giveaway’s dedicated page or promotional materials. In the event of a conflict between these general terms and the specific rules for a giveaway, the specific rules will govern.
Eligibility: Entry is open to legal residents of the United States who meet any additional eligibility requirements listed for the specific giveaway. Employees of Leave No Trace, and relatives of employees, are not eligible to enter. For purposes of these terms, “relative” means spouse, partner, parent, child, or sibling.
Winner Selection and Notification: Winners will be notified by email and/or phone within ten (10) business days after the giveaway ends. If we’re unable to reach a winner within that timeframe, we reserve the right to select an alternate winner.
Taxes and Fees: Winners are solely responsible for any taxes, fees, or other charges associated with accepting a prize, as required under applicable law.
No Purchase Necessary: No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Where applicable, entrants may become eligible by signing up for the Leave No Trace newsletter by using the form below.
Leave No Trace’s Rights: Leave No Trace’s decisions regarding all matters related to the giveaway, including winner selection, are final and not subject to appeal. Leave No Trace reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend any giveaway at its sole discretion if it is unable to proceed as planned, and reserves the right to update these general terms at any time.
Agreement to Terms: By entering, each entrant agrees to these general terms and the specific rules posted for that giveaway.
