This morning of education, action, and celebration will focus on the Leave No Trace principles that help protect natural surroundings in the front country. Start the day by learning about how we can all make a positive impact on our environment through simple, everyday actions like minimizing waste, respecting nature, and preserving the beauty of our public spaces. After a short introduction to the Leave No Trace principles, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in activities including tree and perennial planting, weed removal and trash collection to keep our Nature Play Area pristine, and education. End the morning with a celebration BBQ and enjoy a complimentary swim pass to Anderson Pool—your reward for making a positive impact on our environment!
