Level 1 Instructor Course

Attend a Level 1 Instructor Course as a pre-conference event at the 2026 Rocky Mountain Regional Conference. This course and conference are geared towards experiential educators who are positioned to help individuals and communities build connections to the land, each other, and to themselves. Facing the Future Together: Pathways for Lasting Connections invites us to explore how play, outdoor experiences, and relationship-centered practices can strengthen the bonds that make life meaningful.

Course Dates: March 11-12, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Location: Arizona State University Downtown Campus – University Center 411 N Central Ave #400, Phoenix, AZ 85004

Certification and Expectations:

  • Successful completion of the course will earn you Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor Certification.
  • Certification is valid for two years, with opportunities to co-instruct Leave No Trace Level 1 and Level 2 courses as well as the ability to lead Workshops and Skills Courses.
