Leave No Trace Spotlight: Starved Rock State Park

Leave No Trace’s new Spotlight program is a multi-day event to bring attention to community conservation, spread education, and to build momentum and inspire involvement for the future.

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Team will be at the Starved Rock State Park Spotlight June 2-4, collaborating with hosts and partners on a variety of programs including stewardship projects, workshops, and community outreach.

Opportunities to Get Involved:

Saturday, June 3: National Trails Day Celebration, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Celebrate National Trails Day by participating in a Leave No Trace campaign at Starved Rock State Park and some fun activities involving the trails, canyons, waterfalls, and more! Leave No Trace and local organizations and agencies will have educational booths and activities set up. Stewardship opportunities include a litter clean up and graffiti removal.
