Offered by Gear Tips Outdoor, a proud Leave No Trace Corporate Partner, this Level 1 Instructor Course takes place in the breathtaking Tijuca National Park, Rio de Janeiro, where participants will experience a blend of classroom learning and immersive outdoor activities. Over the course of two days, participants will engage in hands-on training, and directly applying Leave No Trace principles in real-world outdoor environments.

This course is ideal for outdoor instructors, guides, land managers, educators, Scout leaders, and anyone passionate about protecting the outdoors. It provides the knowledge and confidence to teach Leave No Trace principles both in-person and virtually, empowering participants to lead Leave No Trace Skills Courses and Workshops in their own communities.

As a certified Level 1 Instructor, you will be equipped to teach sustainable outdoor practices, sharing the ethical foundation of Leave No Trace with others. The course focuses on minimizing environmental impact, and participants will gain the skills to effectively communicate these principles and inspire others to adopt responsible behaviors in outdoor settings.

Upon completion, participants will receive a certification enabling them to lead Leave No Trace Skills Courses and Workshops, fostering a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility in their communities.
