The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Teams provide proven, research-based skills and education for getting outside in an environmentally sustainable way. Topics in this hands-on, interactive workshop include:

 

  • Overview of Leave No Trace principles and ethics, including both the hows and whys behind the importance of practicing Leave No Trace.
  • Leave No Trace practices that protect the outdoors while minimizing our impacts to the land, soil, vegetation, water, wildlife, and other people.
  • How to enjoy Rend Lake responsibly, whether out on the water, camping, hiking, biking, or enjoying the beach and other activities.  
  • Programs and resources of the Leave No Trace organization and ways to get more involved.
