Noelle Grunwald

Nebraska State Advocate

My name is Noelle Grunwald, and I live in western Nebraska. I work as an environmental educator for Bird Conservancy of the Rockies in Scottsbluff. While growing up in Wisconsin, my parents instilled in me a deep sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world. My love for the outdoors has led to an amazing career working throughout the country at youth camps, nature centers, city, state, and national parks, educating individuals of all ages about the beauty and importance of the natural world around them, as well as how they can be stewards of it. Whether birding, hiking, camping, canoeing, or simply enjoying my own backyard, I believe in protecting and preserving our natural areas for future generations. I had the honor of being the State Advocate while living in Kentucky years ago, and now I look forward to raising awareness and promoting Leave No Trace throughout the state of Nebraska. Please reach out to get involved!
