Annie Rapini

Connecticut State Advocate

I’m originally from Connecticut and grew up wandering the trails on the shoreline of Sleeping Giant State Park. My love for the outdoors started young and never faded and it’s led me to become a Leave No Trace Level 2 Instructor, a backcountry guide, and an outdoor gear enthusiast. Whether I’m skiing, backpacking, paddling, or trying something new, I’m happiest when I’m outside. As Connecticut’s State Advocate, my goal is to spotlight both our well-known parks and hidden natural spaces because every outdoor area, big or small, deserves our attention, respect, and care. I’m passionate about strengthening our outdoor community, encouraging connection, and helping others become stewards of the places we play. I believe the more we know and care, the better stewards we become, and that starts with outreach, education, and a little bit of curiosity. Please reach out to get involved!
