Leave No Trace Workshop

Date & Time: Saturday, May 16 from 8:45 am to 12:00 pm

Location: Adams County Agricultural and Natural Resources Center, 670 Old Harrisburg Rd. Gettysburg, Pennsylvania 17325

Course Details: The Master Watershed Steward Program is excited to partner with Leave No Trace for this introductory training, ideal for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and wants to deepen their knowledge of environmental stewardship. Participants will learn the seven principles of low-impact outdoor ethics in a fun, engaging format, gaining practical skills for preparation, waste disposal, campfires, and respecting wildlife.

This training is suitable for volunteers, recreationists, and land stewards on public or private lands, emphasizing how ethical action protects wildlife and preserves natural spaces.

Attendees will leave with a Certificate of Completion from Leave No Trace and the tools to make outdoor experiences healthier for their communities while passing these skills on to the next generation.
