Leave No Trace Workshop

Date: Saturday, November 11 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Join Rich Ross and Nancy Snyder on a Leave No Trace hike through beautiful Beechwood State Park. This hike is approximately 2 miles with an excursion to an A-Frame for lunch. Come prepared to enjoy interactive activities of the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace. As we hike along the trail, we will stop periodically for a lesson. Bring water, snacks, and lunch. Dress for the weather with proper footwear, and remember, Beechwood is a carry in/carry out park. This training is suitable to apply toward ADK/Outdoor Leader guide Level 1. Watch the Trail Works Facebook page for any weather-related updates for this event. Meet at the upper (west) entrance to the Park. Hope you can join us!

Contact Rich Ross at [email protected] or Nancy Snyder at [email protected] to reserve your spot.
