Leave No Trace Spotlight: Anacostia Park

Leave No Trace’s new Spotlight program brings attention to community conservation, spreads education, and works to build momentum and inspire involvement for the future.

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Team will be at the Anacostia Park Spotlight September 15-16, collaborating with hosts and partners on a variety of programs including a stewardship project.

Opportunities to Get Involved:

Saturday, September 16: 10 AM – 12 pm: Leave No Trace Volunteer Cleanup. Join Leave No Trace, Friends of Anacostia Park, and National Park Foundation for a day of care and celebration for our public lands! We will be removing litter and invasive species from the park. Lunch will be provided for registered volunteers afterwards.
