Leave No Trace Trainer Course – BSA

When: 6pm Fri, March 18 through 12pm Sun, March 20, 2022

Where: BSA Camp Davy Crockett, 142 Scout Camp Rd, Whitesburg, TN 37891

Cost: $45 per person

The Leave No Trace Trainer Course is a 16-hour hands-on course to equip you to teach the Leave No Trace principles by conducting Leave No Trace Awareness Workshops. The course is for adults and older youth who are committed to responsible use of our outdoor resources and want to share that passion with others.

The course is divided between classroom training and a backcountry experience, during which participants will each teach one of the principles within a small group. The course will also cover the BSA Outdoor Ethics program and awards. Non-BSA members are welcome as participants.

Participants must be at least 14 years of age. Participants under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission.
