The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers will join The San Gorgonio Wilderness Association at the City of Highland Citrus Harvest Festival. The Traveling Trainers will have free educational materials and educational activities for all ages!

Palouse Bicycle Collective Ride - Moscow, ID

Join the Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers for an education bike ride at Moscow Mountain! Meet at the Palouse Bicycle Collective at 2:45pm and car pool to the Moscow Mountain. The ride is limited to 15 participants so make sure to register for the event at http://palousebicyclecollective.org.


Leave No Trace Movie Night - Maplewood, MO

Join the Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers for a fun filled Movie Night event! The doors open at 7pm and movie starts at 7:30pm. The feature film will be Vally Uprising from Reel Rock 9! The movie night will be at Schlafly's Bottleworks in the back event room. Admission is a $10 and all proceeds go to Leave No Trace. There will be door prizes, a raffle, and membership specials! This movie is not rated and may not be appropriate for younger audiences.

Bayou Teche Trash Bash and Boogie

The Teche Ecology, Cultural and History Education Project (TECHE) is a non-profit organization passionate about making Bayou Teche a healthier waterway for fishing, boating and swimming. Bayou Teche is one of the most historically and culturally significant bayous in Acadiana, Louisiana and the TECHE Project is an advocate for improved water quality and preservation.

Summit Hut - Tucson, AZ

Come visit the Subaru/ Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers at the Summit Hut at their Speedway location. They will be handing out free educational resources and providing educational outreach as well as answering questions about Leave No Trace.

Adventures NYC VIP Reception

The Leave No Trace e-tour team will be attending the VIP Reception event for Adventures NYC hosted by The North Face, REI, Backpacker Magazine, and NYC Parks.

SCA Austin Service Day

The Leave No Trace e-tour team will be joining the Student Conservation Association and the University of Texas-Austin for a clean up of Waller Creek in Austin, TX, in conjunction with the Outdoor Nation Summit that weekend. They will also be doing an Awareness Workshop with SCA staff attending the event that afternoon.

For the evening, the e-tour team will be joining local SCA Community Crews from Houston for an awareness workshop and campout at Bastrop State Park.

Mount Rainier Hot Spot Success

The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics recently completed work at Mount Rainier National Park’s Paradise Area, a 2011 Leave No Trace-designated “Hot Spot.” Located in Washington, Mount Rainier National Park receives up to two-million visitors a year. At Paradise, the most heavily visited area of the park containing 26 miles of trails, recreation-related impacts have been severe.
