Top Five Reasons Why You Should Run an Awareness Workshop

Jackson, Wyoming: Wilderness Adventures has trips all over the country and world for pre-teens to college students. With over 80 instructors and 600 participants taking trips down rivers, up mountains, through canyons, and various forests throughout the country, we are proud to have them as an educational partner at Leave No Trace. Master Educator Course - Appalachian Trail Conservancy

The course will begin and conclude at the Volunteer Trail Camp adjacent to the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area - Sugar Grove Work Center in VA, and will include three nights of camping along the Appalachian Trail in Southwestern Virginia.  The course will be led by ATC Education and Outreach Coordinator, Kathryn Herndon, and ATC Trail Resources Manager, Leanna Joyner.

New Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers

Zion National Park, Utah: This past week the two new Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers teams, Katelyn and Blake/Jenna and Sam, came out to finalize their training with us in Southwest Utah. Prior to this week, they were in Boulder at the Center meeting the staff, covering the various logistics associated with this job, and completing their Master Educator course.
