Leave No Trace Master Educator Course - Appalachian Mountain Club

The Master Course provides participants with a comprehensive overview of Leave No Trace skills and ethics through practical application in a field-based setting. The first day takes place in a classroom and introduces the course agenda and provides in-depth information on the overall Leave No Trace program, the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, and the AMC's history with educational initiatives. Group and individual preparations for the field component of the course are also tended to on the first day.

Leave No Trace Master Educator Course - Appalachian Mountain Club

This five-day Master Educator course will be co-taught by the Appalachian Mountain Club and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and will be based at the Kellogg Conservation Center (KCC) in Southwestern Massachusetts. The KCC is situated on the Appalachian Trail among the picturesque hills of the southern Berkshires.

Master Educator Course - Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries

Our Grand Canyon course is considered a 'back country' expedition, and will include significant elevation gain and loss, average 4-5 miles per day, and require pack weight between 40-60% of students body weight. Participants must be in good physical condition, and must be able to hike on uneven terrain with a full pack for 4-5 miles per day.

Master Educator Course - Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries

Our Zion National Park Master Educator course is considered a 'front country' course and will generally consist of low mileage each day over moderate terrain to allow extra time to cover the course material. Teaching sessions are held during the day over moderate terrain to allow extra time to cover course materal. Teaching sessions are held during the day and may continue into the evenings. Participants must be in food physical condition and must be able to hike with a full pack for 2-4 miles.

Age: 18+

Cost: $650

Master Educator Course - Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries

Our Rocky Mountain National Park ME Course is considered a 'front country' course, and will generally consist of low mileage each day over moderate terrain, to allow extra time to cover course material. Teaching sessions are held during the day and may continue into the evenings. Participants must be in good physical condition and must be able to hike with a pack for 2-4 miles per day.
