Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge - Sequim, WA

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers will be at Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge on May 31 for a Leave No Trace volunteer training and Awareness Workshop focused on Authority of the Resource.

The Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge receives around 100,000 visitors from across the country and around the world each year. From April - September, volunteers staff the entrance station and interact with each visitor that arrives at the Refuge.

Olympic National Park Gold Standard Site Visit - Port Angeles, WA

In 2016, the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics announced 10 exemplary outdoor areas across the country to receive new Leave No Trace seal of approval as Leave No Trace Gold Standard Sites, including Olympic National Park.

Gold Standard designation is part of the Center’s ‘Leave No Trace in Every Park’ initiative that recognizes outdoor spaces demonstrating the highest standard of practicing and promoting Leave No Trace ethics.
