Awareness Workshop

National Historic Trails Interpretive Center - Casper, WY

In partnership with the  Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers will be at the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center (NHTIC) in Casper, Wyoming on August 22 leading a morning workshop and training for BLM staff, parters, and volunteers. In the afternoon, the Traveling Trainers will be on site in the NHTIC educating visitors about Leave No Trace principles and ethics and how to protect these national treasures. 

PEAK Summer Camp - Mt. Pleasant, MI

Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers will be leading fun and engaging Leave No Trace games and activities for 2nd through 6th grade campers participating in the PEAK Summer Camp program with the City of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. 

Circuit Media - Denver, CO

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers will be conducting a Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop, including fun and engaging outdoor activities, for employees of Leave No Trace partner Circuit Media. 

Indiana Dunes State Park - Chesterton, IN

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers will be at Indiana Dunes State Park on Tuesday, June 3 leading two programs:

1. Educating park visitors at the Nature Center about minimizing their impacts and protecting the unique dunes environment while enjoying the outdoors responsibly. 

Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop - Riverside State Park, WA

When getting ready to head out into the woods, it is important to know and understand what to do to maintain the resources we enjoy. Join REI's Leave No Trace Master Educator and the experts with the Washington Trails Association for this session of Wednesdays in the Woods all about Leave No Trace. We'll talk about the real impact of micro-trash, tips and tricks on Leave No Trace fire practices, define a "durable surface", and much more!

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers will be leading an engaging and interactive Leave No Trace outdoor skills and ethics workshop co-sponsored by the Chief Noonday Chapter, North Country Trail Association and Lee's Adventure Sports. 

Arizona Cactus-Pine Girl Scouts Jamboree 2018 - Parks, AZ

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers will be leading fun and interactive educational sessions for troops of all ages at the Arizona Cactus-Pine Girl Scouts Jamboree 2018.

Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge - Sequim, WA

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers will be at Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge on May 31 for a Leave No Trace volunteer training and Awareness Workshop focused on Authority of the Resource.

The Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge receives around 100,000 visitors from across the country and around the world each year. From April - September, volunteers staff the entrance station and interact with each visitor that arrives at the Refuge.
