Volunteer Stewardship Project - Mt. Tabor Park Spotlight

Location: Mt. Tabor Park Visitor Center

Join Portland Parks & Recreation, Weed Warriors, and Leave No Trace staff and partners for a fun and family-friendly volunteer day to care for Mt. Tabor Park. Volunteers will work on projects such as removing invasive species (e.g. blackberries) from Picnic Hill and other needed restoration work.

Space is limited. Advance sign up is required.

 Informações importantes: 

- Traga água, lanches, um chapéu, protetor solar e vista-se de acordo com o clima. 

- Os menores de 18 anos devem ser acompanhados por um dos pais ou por um tutor.

- É necessário usar calças compridas e calçado fechado.

- Ferramentas e materiais fornecidos, mas é favor trazer luvas de trabalho, se as tiver.

- Work may entail bending, kneeling, crouching, light lifting and a short walk from the meeting spot.
