Leave No Trace State Advocate Program

State Advocates are a nationwide network of volunteers, coordinating Leave No Trace efforts in their respective states. These individuals serve as key mouthpieces in the spread of Leave No Trace education, directly reaching thousands of people nationwide through training, outreach and service events. Advocates work hard to engage Master Educators, Trainers, and anyone interested in protecting our favorite outdoor places in Leave No Trace education and programmatic efforts. 

Currently, the Center is looking for Leave No Trace educators and enthusiasts to fill Advocate positions in the following states:
