The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics teaches people how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly, and the Center encourages use of program on public lands.
The Center has Memorandum of Understandings with the following federal and state land management agencies: National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, USDA Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Army Corps of Engineers and the National Association of State Park Directors. As partners in Leave No Trace, the program is available for your use on all of the lands and waterways that you manage.
From using the Leave No Trace Seven Principles and logo on interpretive signs, carrying Leave No Trace educational booklets and reference tags at your visitors’ center to customized workshops and courses for your staff, the Center has all you need to incorporate comprehensive
The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics' trademarked logo, copyrighted Seven Principles and other educational texts are available and free to Government Partners for educational use. Please use appropriate copyright language with use of Leave No Trace Center materials.
The Center has a library of educational materials and promotional items available to help you share the Leave No Trace program with your colleagues, staffs, and visitors. Federal and state agency partners receive a 10% discount on everything in the Leave No Trace store.
The Center has developed excellent curriculum and resources to teach children and teens about Leave No Trace. Limited, free resources are available and the entire PEAK (Promoting Environmental Awareness in Kids) and Teen programs are available in Spanish.
Whether the land that you manager is in a desert, the northeast mountains or if you need Leave No Trace resources for water sports, mountain biking, hunting, the Center has a full slate of educational resources for you.

From one-hour Awareness Workshops to the 5-day Master Educator Course, the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics has the right training for you and your staff. An online Awareness Workshop is also available to you.
The Center has three, full-time teams of traveling educators to provide on-site workshops on public lands around the country. They provide relevant and targetted training for park staff and visitors.
