PRE TRIP MEETING: Oct 19th - 5pm - Outdoor Program

PRICE: $50

TRIP SUMMARY/WHAT TO EXPECT: This course is designed for educators, youth leaders, agency employees, and others who value the land and want to teach others how to protect and preserve it. Graduates will receive a Leave No Trace Trainer certificate and will be qualified to teach Leave No Trace skills and ethics to a variety of groups. This is a hands on, participatory course conducted in the outdoors. Prerequisites include being proficient at outdoor living skills, and coming prepared with the proper outdoor living equipment and food.

SKILL LEVEL/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Have some experience backpacking and or living in the outdoors. An interest in Leave No Trace.

WHAT DOES TRIP PRICE INCLUDE? Transportation, Materials, ½ price on rentals through the Outdoor Program, instruction, Leave No Trace trainer’s certificate

WHAT DOES PARTICIPANT NEED TO BRING? Food, personal camping gear to live in the outdoors for 2 days and 1 night, pen and notepad for taking notes.
