Description: This three day backpack trek not only covers Leave No Trace principles complete with certification, it also is an introduction to backpacking. Learn about backpacking gear, practice picking and setting up campsites, and, of course, you’ll learn to cook and eat delicious camp food at your home for the weekend: Inspiration Point (food is not provided). Along the way, your naturalist guide will share tips on how to “Leave No Trace” when hiking and camping, such as using designated trails and sticking to on durable surfaces. Come away with a Leave No Trace Trainer Certificate and a better understanding of how to enjoy backpacking in the wild places.
